By horse-drawn tram through old Brussels
Here is a guided tour with a difference, one you will never forget. It is by horse-drawn tram, and specially arranged for your occasion. On a tram for 18 passengers, drawn by three horses, you will discover the old Brussels like you never thought possible. Time-hallowed churches and ancient houses jostle each other in the forgotten lanes of the lower town that is also crowded with markets and quarters from a bygone era. From the Marolles through the Sablon to the Dansaert district, they include the onetime home for lay sisters (Béguinage) and the fish market (Marché aux Poissons).
Nor must we forget the cheeky Mannekin-Pis, that statue of a little boy who... On the way, say " Whoa ! " to the horses outside one of those cafes that give Brussels its character so that everyone can down a pint of good, old Belgian beer. You can even tarry awhile in a museum or the craft-shops where they make the well-known lace, fashions, chocolates and jewellery or sit down for a good meal in a restaurant.
Duration: 2h50. Open to everyone. Min 12 / Max 55 participants.
